‘Cable Magazine’

We’re going to start this one with a disclaimer. The photos you see above are earlier iterations of the cable magazine. They have gone through A LOT of change since then and are now smaller, slimmer and sit really well in the chair.
As you may have guessed, today we’re talking about the cable magazine in the chair. ‘Why do you call it a magazine?’ We hear you ask. Well, lucky for you, we have the answers. The way that this has been designed means that it can be taken out and replaced, like a magazine in a gun. As the future of headsets change, we can change what the chair is able to work with, without you having to buy a whole new chair. Smart, right?
The cable magazine is made up of hundreds of tiny cables, that help maintain the connection between the headset and the computer, but as the cable magazine turns with the chair, you will never have tangled cables.
The current cable magazine in the chair supports the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift CV1. We’re working hard to get our next magazine complete, which will support the HTC Vive Pro and Oculus Rift S. Watch this space, as we’ll let you know when they’re ready!
