Here at Roto, we like to spend a lot of our time in the VR world, and for the next few months, we’ll be sharing with you some of the upcoming and new releases for the VR world, as well as some VR events that we’re interested in!
We’re a little late for June, but here are our favourites from last month, and keep an eye out on our blogs for our July edition.
The Wizards: Dark Times
The Wizards: Dark times is a new VR game released on June 4th. It is currently playable on HTC Vive, Valve Index and Oculus Rift.
In this game, you will need to put on your VR headset and set off on a brand new perilous journey across the plague-ridden realm of Meliora.
This sequel to ‘The Wizards’ looks to be a whole lot of fun!
Crisis VRigade 2
Crisis VRigade 2 is the sequel to the original Crisis Vrigade - a Fast-Paced Virtual Reality Action Shooter that lets you take on the role of a SWAT trooper. This game is currently in early access, so can (and probably will) change in the future, however it looks a whole bunch of fun!
The game was released on the June 10th, and is available to play on the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Valve Index.
This first-person psychological horror game is not for the feint of heart at all. You are heading back to the Rickfford Mansion, where you had previously left some disturbing memories. In here you need to uncover exactly what happened on that fateful night.
This game was released on June 10th and is available to play on the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Valve Index.
Phantom: Coverts Ops – June 25th (Rift, Quest)
The below was taken from the Oculus website, and we think it’s the perfect description of the game:
“You are a Phantom: an elite covert operative with one night to prevent all-out war.
Dispatched into hostile wetlands in your military kayak, utilise weapons and equipment to neutralise the enemy threat. Engage targets lethally or infiltrate unnoticed from the shadows. This is stealth action redefined.”
This is sure to be a tense, edge-of-your-seat experience, released on June 25th on the Oculus Rift and Quest.
Party Pumper has already had its PC release at the tail end of last year, however it’s now getting a new and shiny release on the PSVR. In here, your job is to get the party started with your awesome DJ’ing, as well as dancing, throwing back stage invaders, turning the show into a foam party or setting off some indoor fireworks. Everything you do to hype up the party will increase your final score.
This has been released on the June 25th on PSVR.
